Monday 11th August 2014 The Stags Head Maidwell
A challenge weather wise ,with short sharp showers making it unpleasant .Sally did her best to provide shelter for the musicians with a medium sized umbrella. The front car park was soon abandoned for the shelter of an awning in the pub garden

Monday 4th August 2014 The Tollemache Arms Harrington
Another lovely evening with a great view over towards Arthingworth- and a Car Park full of people all waiting to see us (?). Dancing outside of a beer tent does have its advantages . A sad evening in a way as we wish Keith and his family Adieu as they leave Market Harborough and move Sheffield, We hope Keith will be back to help celebrate our 25th Anniversary Day of Dance on 4th October 2014

Monday 28th July The CherryTree Little Bowden
Dancing on the Pub Car Park at the Cherry Tree was always going to be entertaining as its a busy Pub and Monday is Quiz night . A welcome visitor from Rutland made up numbers and support for the musicians, depleated by holidays ,was much appreciated.

Monday 21st July 2014 The Nevill Arms at Medbourne
A really pleasant sunny evening with Pub customers sitting on benches listening to the stream - until the tinkle of bells announced our arrival. Setting up the reconstructed Banner stand was an improvement and the evening went well with the introduction of a new dance "The Braybrooke Haka" (aka Jockey to the Fair)
"Be afraid" - I was which is why the photo is none too sharp ( Apologies Sally but wait until you see the picture of Rowena which is going onto facebook later)
I think that qualifies as a smile - well nearly

Monday 14th July 2014 The Chequers at Swinford with Coventry Morris Men
What ever happened to light summer evenings. It was another dim one when we shared honours with Coventry Morris Men. The evening was made more interesting as the dances were performed on the road at a T junction - all survived to enjoy Sausage and Chips in the Chequers

Monday 7th July 2014 The Royal Oak Naseby
Dancing in the dark sums it up - after an earlier shower the clouds stayed so by the finish we were in the gloom. What audience there was watched from inside the pub - David missed another week, hopefully he will be better soon , so Phill stepped in.

Monday 30th June 2014 - Bridge 61 Foxton Locks
An exciting summers evening ‘Dancing on the Edge’as the only
space available was the ‘Towpath’. This is not quite as wide as it looks in the
pictures. Keith took control as Deputy
Squire in Davids’ absence.- Call of the
evening “...Mind the Bollard”
