2012 programme

Thanks to the hard work of our secretary, Pauline Dawes, our programme for 2012 is here! Details are to the right of this post, all being well. One change from last year is that we will dance through August, ending the week before the Bank Holiday. We will then have a break and start to practice from 17th September. There is a "taster evening" on 15th October at the Village Hall, Braybrooke. This replaces our "open evening" in September, and if you have always wanted to have a go at Morris, this is for you!

Christmas lights (2)

We danced in Market Harborough for Late Night Shopping. Before we lent the light sabre to the tiger (or Tiger), we danced the Upton Stick Dance and Skirmish with them, but unfortunately the photographer wanted to dance, so there are no pictures!

Christmas lights (1)

We danced in Desborough on November 25, for their Gala night.

Practice nights start earlier

At our AGM last night we agreed to start practice nights at 745, not 8 pm. If you are interested in coming along to see what we do, or in joining us, you would be very welcome. We meet (except for the second Monday of each month) at Braybrooke Village Hall. (On those second Mondays we meet adjacent to Market Harborough Leisure Centre. Contact us for more precise directions!).

A rest

Congratulations, Lindsay and Howard!

Dancing at their wedding in Northampton. Congratulations, and thank you for the invitation!

Happy birthday, Bakanalia!

We had a lovely day recently on the Great Central Railway, in honour of Bakanalia's 20th birthday. Bare Bones Border Morris and Anstey Royal Chalfont were there too, as well as (obviously!) Bakanalia themselves. Some photos are currently marooned in my camera, but here are some that have escaped. The first one is the massed Bob Ridley dance that ended the day. Thank you to Bakanalia for a lovely day out, and happy birthday!
