Twentieth Anniversary - Lubenham

My camera was running out of space by now... The last, sepia, photo, is Joe's, not mine.

Twentieth Anniversary - Foxton Locks

Twentieth Anniversary - Market Harborough

Twentieth Anniversary - Braybrooke

Some of my (not terribly accomplished) pictures - Bakanalia, Rattlejag, Dolphin (and some stray Braybrooke), Hips N Haws, England's Glory

Twentieth Anniversary Day of Dance

At last, something about our recent 20th anniversary mini-tour of the area. We were delighted to be joined by Dolphin Morris Men, Higham Hips N Haws, England's Glory, Rattlejag Morris, and for some of the tour, by Bakanalia Border Morris. Dolphin and Rattlejag we know from the annual Gate to Southwell, Hips N Haws danced alongside us at the Raunds Music Festival this year, one of our dancers used to dance with England's Glory, and Bakanalia join us for a midsummer dance at Billesdon. We started at the Swan, Braybrooke, and then crossed the border into Leicestershire to go to Market Harborough, Foxton Locks, and Lubenham, before making our way back to Braybrooke. Most folk travelled in style on a double decker bus. In some posts now - some photos.

This is the official site of Braybrooke Morris Dancers

This was a kind of experimental new website, designed to replace the existing one, which was going to disappear. Well, the old site now has disappeared. If you try to go to the old site at www.marketharboroughonline.co.uk/braybrookemorris, you will be redirected to the Harborough District Council site. I shall be trying to contact people who have links to our old site, to let them know of this one, but meanwhile, if you have bookmarked the old site or linked to it, please adjust your links! This is now the only site of Braybrooke Morris Dancers. Watch this space!
